Proposed Name Change for NADT

On July 25th, 2011, the Board for the National Association for Drama Therapy  voted to approve specific changes to the bylaws of the organization. These changes include are now being brought to members for review.


These changes include a proposal to change the name of the organization for greater inclusion of our Canadian Members. The proposed name is The North American Drama Therapy Association (NADT Association)

On Friday, November 4th, 2011, at the annual membership meeting at the NADT Conference, a vote will be held for the membership. Approval by a two thirds majority of the voting membership is necessary for any changes to occur. Those of you who will not be able to attend the conference will have an opportunity to vote by  the enclosed absentee ballot. In addition, electronic voting will be open and available on the website on November 4th only. All votes must be received by November 4th. . You must be a current paid member of the association in order to vote and you may only vote once.
